IP Academy is a new educational format in the sphere of intellectual property
Supported by the leading educational conference Skolkovo, The Patent School emerged in 2019 as the major educational event in Russia and the CIS countries for the wide range of experts in the sphere of intellectual property and other science-driven and creative economic sectors generating and working with IP products.

Session of Vedomosti
The session of Vedomosti, titled "IP in the era of IoT and AI," became the major attraction of the first day at the International Educational Conference IP Academy. Representatives of the largest IT companies as well as leading professionals in the field of high technology and law in the digital economy, discussed the impact of the newest technological solutions in the sphere of intellectual property, outlining the main trends in the IP sphere in the era of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence. Based on the session results, experts came to the conclusion that at this stage the market does not have the intention to grant AI copyright, and till the moment AI goes to the court to stand up for their rights, it is enough to apply existing law regulations.
Signing an agreement between the IPChain Association, n'RIS, and Tsarskaya privelegia company
The IPChain Association, n’RIS service and Tsarskaya Privilegia consulting company to design the IPnote digital assistant, signed a tripartite cooperation agreement on the margins of the Conference. As part of the agreement, the parties plan to arrange registration of intellectual property assets, uploaded by IPnote users to the IPChain distributed ledger with n’RIS solution.Alexander Lyovkin, General Director of Tsarskaya Privilegia and founder of the IPnote project, said that scaling partnerships will be an important step for the development of digital culture in the Russian IP sphere. Andrey Krichevsky, president of the IPChain Association said that the IPChain infrastructure enables companies to create their own solutions, services and platforms, like IPnote.

Attendees of the IP Academy will remember the event not only for its fascinating discussions and interesting workshops, but for an elegantly composed cultural program. The first day of the conference ended with the Wine&Prosecco reception, hosted by Novy Vek bank, featuring instrumental music of the young composer Kirill Richter.On the second day the guests attended the Italian wine reception, hosted by the event partner LexisNexis, with a ballet performance of the Bolshoi Theatre dancers being its culmination.
